How can I fully erase my naughty videos in a digital camera?

I cannot format because the camera isn't mine. Right now, I just deleted the videos, and I am letting the camera record the wall, for like 10 mintues, so it can overwrite the videos. Can I delete the "wall" video, and will my naughty video be gone?

1. It should have been gone when you deleted it.
2. It'll be gone the first time you delete it, well enough anyways. Unless the person decides to bring it in somewhere and have their deleted files recovered (which is unlikely), you're just fine.
