How can I download dvds to windows media player?

I want to copy dvds, but I don't know how to download them to windows media player. Or is there another way to copy dvds?

1. You need a DVD-Rom drive. Windows Media Player doesn't rip DVD's. You'll need a program like Nero or Sonic! RecordNow. One of those do it i'm pretty sure, and there are a few other's out there.
2. Are you getting downloading and copying muddled up? All dvds are copy protected apart from the home recorded ones,AnyDVD or Fab DVD will work a treat at copying ANY dvd but downloading to WMP requires the correct codecs for it to play.
