How to get videos onto a Zune without the marketplace?

I'm trying to take videos from Youtube, and put them onto the Zune. I have Youtube downloader, and the videos I want are in flv format, and I want them to convert into the proper Zune format like mp4 or what ever it is.

1. proper format is wmv for a zune. Then you can just use the zune software to synch the file to the zune.
